Your Steering Committee voted to increase emphasis on Public Education in 2026 and chose two main focus-areas: Algae and Water Quality (see articles below). While we cannot control the effects of the predicted Super El Nino weather patterns this summer, we can control the human contributions to increased algae blooms and poor water quality (fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, poorly maintained septic systems, derelict docks).
