We have just written a grant to the Department of Ecology to help pay for an Integrated Aquatic Vegetation Management Plan
(IAVMP). If our grant application is successful we can begin the IAVMP this spring. This scientific study will form the basis of our workplan.
Proposed changes coming…
We have been attending meetings every two weeks to manage the proposed transition of LMD oversight from Public Works to Department of Health and Social Services, Environmental Health.
In the intervening weeks we participate in LMD Leadership Team meetings with representatives from all 4 LMDs in Thurston County.
