NATIVE MILFOIL
Native Milfoil was found in Zone 3 during our recent submerged weed treatment (See picture above.) This is different from invasive milfoil. However, the native can hybridize with the other invasive milfoils. This milfoil was treated along with the other submerged weeds in Zone 3. Going forward, we will keep an eye on it. If it becomes aggressive, we will need to send samples to a lab for DNA analysis and then act appropriately according to the results.
