Herbicide Treatment Areas

Areas B-1 and B-2 will be treated with Endothall on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Target species

Broad-leaf Pondweeds (Potamogeton spp.)

Treatment Notices

Signs will be posted the morning of treatment in all required areas.

Swimming Restrictions

Swimming restrictions are generally minimal. Most sources indicate a 24-hour restriction near the treatment area due to potential skin or eye irritation from concentrated endothall. Endothall dissipates rapidly after application, and is not known to accumulate in fish or animal tissue. 

There is a drinking lake water use restriction from treated areas for 14-days for Humans and Domestic animals. This restriction is NOT for wells, but only for folks getting drinking water directly from the lake.
