And SOP is  the acronym for Standard Operating Procedures for Lake Management Districts (LMDs). The Thurston County 4-lake LMD Leadership Team (Offut Lake, Pattison Lake, Long Lake, and Lake Lawrence) have been working with Assistant County Manager, Rob Gelder, to create an SOP for LMDs. When completed this will be the “manual” for “all-things-LMD.” This collaborative creation not only gathers all the information and resources in one location, but it is also giving LMDs and the County an opportunity to fix, fine-tune, and streamline past procedures.
