WALPA is the acronym for Washington State Lake Protection Association.
WALPA’s mission is to allow diverse interests to speak with one voice to protect lakes. We encourage and support programs for lake and watershed protection, restoration and management, provide educational resources and information about lake and watershed management, and foster communication and coordination among lake and watershed stakeholders.
Washington State Lake Protection Association (WALPA) and the Oregon Lakes Association (OLA) have combined forces for this year’s conference at the University Place Hotel & Conference Center in Portland, Oregon on October 9-11.
